Hygge hygge

You can always trust us to come up with something a little different, some may say bizarre. Have you heard of the Scandinavian concept of hygge (Hoo-ga)? It roughly translates as cosiness, conviviality, intimacy. It’s that cosy feeling you get when you’re with friends and family, in front of a log fire, with warm blankets and slouchy socks.

This season we are bringing a taste of hygge to Dorset. Using  British-made wool or Moroccan blankets and cushions in a hand-made log basket with the optional extra of a luxury candle produced in Devon these gift sets are great for family and friends or even for treating yourself.

We have also developed a range of gift sets using our fantastic spa range. And there will be
lots of smaller items for the younger ones in your family with hand knitted teddy soothers, Moroccan beanies and winter scarves all packaged in festive bags.
